How Aether Bridge Works

Step 1: Asset Locking

When a user initiates a cross-chain transaction, the digital assets are locked in a smart contract on the source blockchain. This ensures that the assets are securely held during the transfer process.

Step 2: Validation and Authorization

Aether Bridge employs a decentralized network of validators to verify and authorize transactions. This decentralized approach enhances security and transparency.

Step 3: Asset Minting or Release

After validation, the equivalent assets are either minted or released on the destination blockchain. This ensures a 1:1 representation of the transferred assets, maintaining their value and usability.
